Our bas relief is based on the sculpture from the temple of Athena Apteros in the Acropolis of Athens.
A marble relief, sculpted during the Peloponnesian War, is depicting Nike goddess of victory, stopping to adjust her sandals, it was originally made to sit on the balustrade of the Greek Temple of Athena, Acropolis, Athens, c. 410–407 bc.
Now housed in the Acropolis Museum, Athens.
