Our statue is based on the famous sculpture known as «Poseidon of Melos»
The Poseidon of Melos is a statue of Poseidon in the National Archaeological Museum, Athens, which is dated to the last quarter of the second century BC. It is believed to be dated back to the Hellenistic Period. The statue was found in 1877 on the island of Melos. It is made of Parian marble and has a height of 2.35 meters, which makes it more than life-size.

Material & Manufacture process: Cast Marble
Cast Marble statues are made from a composite material in which natural crushed Greek Marble stone is mixed with a small quantity of resin that works as a glue. The mixture is then poured into a mold of the statue design. Over 90% of the finished sculpture is natural crushed Greek Marble stone, which gives it a look and feel of solid natural marble. All sculptures are finished by hand. This strong material is water and weather resistant and can be washed with most cleaning agents.
Please note: Our statues are not carved. Natural marble statues are hand carved and command a very hefty price. Our product offerings are intended to be affordable to the majority public.
